SS13 Must have sandals

I really cannot wait for summer to come. I have so many things to do, places I want to go to and clothes I want to wear. I've have my eyes on a pair of sandals for a while which I believe will be hot this summer. The 'strappy sandal'. These can teamed up with almost anything in your wardrobe, from shorts to jeans, skirts, dresses......the list is endless.
For that edgey look, the Zara or Philip Lim pair would be ideal; & for a girly and preppy look the Topshop pair will be ideal.

Coolin'

It's been a while. I've been busy with uni and exams. I'm glad that's out of the way now. Here's something you all might like; an outfit I ensembled recently, I was trying to create a 1950's Mods/Indie look. I was feeling creative and inspired by my new t-shirt that I recently thrifted.

House of Holland Intern

As you migt know from one of my previous posts, I have been searching for an internship for many months. I've finally found one. Yaaay! I got the opportunity to attend a trial day last week at house of Holland. I had a really exciting and fun packed day working at a fashion house which is something I hope to pursue in my future career. On the day that I attended, I got the opportunity to see the day to day running of an international fashion brand. Everyone I worked with was really friendly and welcoming. I am really looking forward to the next few weeks working there as I gain industry experience. My future looks promising more and more each day; I love fashion & I Love London!

Take a look at what I wore ;) .....

LCF MA Show 2013

Highlights from London Fashion Week-LCF MA show.
One of my favourite designers who showcased at the show was Nadia Scullion. Scottish born designer. Her collection consisted of pastel colours and light fabrics. I really fell inlove with her collection and I deffinetly see myself owning one of her pieces. She is one to watch out for in the near future.

London Fashion Week 2013 - What Cookie wore

15/02/2013: I really had a great time at day 1 of London Fashion Week. I went to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden to watch the 'London College of Fashion' MA students show. It was really inspiring to see fellow students from my university showcasing their work infront of buyers, celebs and editors at a world renowned fashion festival. What makes it even more exciting is that, they were the openers for Fashion Week 2013. Great Job Guys! You Rocked!

Lipstick Haul

I am an absolute ebay addict at the moment. Ebay has so much to offer at such reasonable prices.  I just thought I would do a haul to show you all my new  'miss sporty' black lipstick which I recently purchased from there. If you want to give your look a fierce & edgey twist, then I deffinately recomend this lipstick. The lipstick itself has a lovely scent and has proved to be good so far. I bought it from the ebay retailer 'Bayeba' at a small cost of £0.99; what a bargain!

It's been a while

It's been a while since I last wrote a post. I think for the whole month of June I didn't write a single post. June has been a very busy month for me; holiday, work and prepairing for uni. I have recently just come back from a holiday in Crete. For those of you who might know Crete, it is a Greek island which is located within the mediteranean sea. Oh my! Crete is one beautiful island. The scenery was just breathtaking. The culture was completely different to what I am used to and the food was just amazing. Here are a few photos of. I will try to upload a few more photos once I charge up my camera.
