I just thought I would share with you a few photos I took last weekend  when I attended a wedding up in Derbyshire. It was a beautiful, small and intimate ceremony.
The inspiration behind my outfit was 'Minnie Mouse and Vintage'. Very random yes i know, but I like being creative and letting my mind run wild. Here is what I wore:

CookieLondon.com

So alongside work this summer, one of the things that really kept me busy was my online thrift boutique. Yes my boutique! I had been highly anticipating it for about a year. It started off as a crazy idea I got in my head about a year ago but I kept putting the thoughts aside saying "I will do another time". To cut the long story short, I came to a decision that it's now or never! so I acted and now I am the proud owner of CookieLondon.com.
The boutique is called Cookie London. It is an online thrift and vintage boutique which sells preloved, thrifted and vintage items. It is now complete and up and running. Visit the site and share favourite items on the page with friends on facebook and twitter. You can also access the site from pages tab above by clicking 'Boutique'. Happy Shopping x.

Long Time no See

Hey guys, it's been a while, I know. I had a very busy summer. Some of  you may have been wondering why I have been so quiet. A lot of things have kept me busy through out this holiday. First half of my holiday I spent a great deal of time working as I was saving up for my big move to london. The other half of my holiday was spent Interning for a local lingerie company as a website assistant. It was great fun, learnt so much from e-commercerce to Seo and to designing graphical stuff such as promos etc. On top of that I now officially own an online thrift boutique called Cookie London. I will ellaborate some more in the next post.

By the way, what are your thoughts on my current hairstyle. yay or nay?

My Skincare Regime

Good morning guys, I just thought of sharing with you how I look after my skin.
Scrub: I scrub my skin daily with a facial scrub and rinse with cold water. The product that I am currently using is the 'Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Mask'. I use it as a scrub daily and use it as a mask at the end of the week.
Toner: After I have washed my face, I use the 'visibly clear Spot and stress control' toner to cleanse and tone my skin.
Moisturiser: Instead of using the visibly clear moisturiser I use the 'Simple' light moisturiser. I prefer using this because it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised unlike the 'visibly clear' moisturiser leaves my skin feeling tight an dry. I do not always use these specific brands, I like experimenting with different ones. I chose to use neutrogena this month because my skin has been breaking out a lot lately.
What works for you?

SS13 Must have sandals

I really cannot wait for summer to come. I have so many things to do, places I want to go to and clothes I want to wear. I've have my eyes on a pair of sandals for a while which I believe will be hot this summer. The 'strappy sandal'. These can teamed up with almost anything in your wardrobe, from shorts to jeans, skirts, dresses......the list is endless.
For that edgey look, the Zara or Philip Lim pair would be ideal; & for a girly and preppy look the Topshop pair will be ideal.

House of Holland Intern

As you migt know from one of my previous posts, I have been searching for an internship for many months. I've finally found one. Yaaay! I got the opportunity to attend a trial day last week at house of Holland. I had a really exciting and fun packed day working at a fashion house which is something I hope to pursue in my future career. On the day that I attended, I got the opportunity to see the day to day running of an international fashion brand. Everyone I worked with was really friendly and welcoming. I am really looking forward to the next few weeks working there as I gain industry experience. My future looks promising more and more each day; I love fashion & I Love London!

Take a look at what I wore ;) .....

LCF MA Show 2013

Highlights from London Fashion Week-LCF MA show.
One of my favourite designers who showcased at the show was Nadia Scullion. Scottish born designer. Her collection consisted of pastel colours and light fabrics. I really fell inlove with her collection and I deffinetly see myself owning one of her pieces. She is one to watch out for in the near future.

London Fashion Week 2013 - What Cookie wore

15/02/2013: I really had a great time at day 1 of London Fashion Week. I went to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden to watch the 'London College of Fashion' MA students show. It was really inspiring to see fellow students from my university showcasing their work infront of buyers, celebs and editors at a world renowned fashion festival. What makes it even more exciting is that, they were the openers for Fashion Week 2013. Great Job Guys! You Rocked!
